The Washington Post published an article today detailing how Dougan is working with Russian Intel to produce deepfakes targeting the Harris campaign. This is a gift link to the article. The gist is that a guy working under two similar identities paid Dougan to create deepfakes targeting Harris with an AI generator created by the GRU (Russian military intelligence).

- It’s worth noting that John Mark Dougan is an American and former police officer from Florida who defected to Russia, while Alexander Dugin is the Russian known as “Putin’s Brain.” I often use Aleksandr instead of Alexander because that’s his actual name, which used to be the norm. The point is that you should know who these people are.
“The documents show payments directly from Khoroshenky to Dougan’s bank account in Moscow starting in April 2022 and frequent meetings between Khoroshenky, Dougan and Korovin.”
Khoroshenky’s cover identity is reported as deputy director of the Center for Geopolitical Expertise, part of the Moscow Institute, and both founded by Aleksandr Dugin (Alexander in the WaPo article), who is famous for his 1997 book Foundations of Geopolitics, which is essentially pro-imperialism and empire building. The head of the Center, Valery Korovin, is also named as being in on it, although the payments are from Khoroshenky the documents indicate that he was the one giving instructions to Korovin and Dougan.
Craig Unger’s American Kompromat
In American Kompromat, Craig Unger explores John Mark Dougan in Chapters 15 and 16. Dougan asserts that he holds 478 of Epstein’s videos, which he claims to have obtained during his time as a deputy sheriff with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. It goes into his defection in 2016, and how he obtained the Epstein tapes:
